Barbara Mori takes her model-actress posse on a South African adventure as she films new TV travel show

Mexican model and actress Barbara Mori is making another attempt to be part of the Indian showbiz whirl.

This time, she will be hosting the second season of the travel show, Life Mein Ek Baar 2, on FOX Traveller, which will air in March.

After her last outing in 2010 – in the Anurag Basu-directed film Kites where she made her debut opposite Hrithik Roshan – Barbara will be seen going on a grand South African adventure for the travel show.

Besides Barbara, Czech model-actress Yana Gupta, VJ Archana Vijaya, model Diandra Soares and Tamil actress Kirat Bhattal will also be seen on the show.

“The group of girls explored some unknown places around Cape Town and indulged in exciting adventures. These girls belong to different backgrounds and will share their experiences of indulging in some adrenaline-pumping activities,” a source from the channel said

Barbara was roped in for the show because of her interest in adventure-based sports.

The five girls will be sharing their emotions and excitement from their trip where they participated in a range of exhilarating sports activities including skydiving and shark diving.

The gang also tried their hands at flying a gyrocopter and attended tattoo conventions, besides going on a tour to Nelson Mandela’s Prison Island. Barbara reportedly got emotional after visiting Robben Island, where Mandela served a major portion of his life imprisonment.

“Besides travelling to the unexplored places in South Africa, the most enjoyable part was interaction with the natives of the island. Despite the language problem, we spoke to many South African natives and tried to understand their lifestyle,” Yana said.

The girls also tasted the local delicacies and traditional cuisines which included exotic dishes made of crocodile and antelope meat.

“Most of us had never tasted the meat of these animals. It was interesting to narrate to the audience what the meat tasted like,” Yana added.
